Jujutsu Kaisen × Sweets Paradise

The spring JJK collab features characters in waiter outfits with themed dishes recreating famous scenes. Sweets Paradise collabs are all-you-can-eat buffet style with a 70-minute time limit. The Shinjuku location tends to be the most crowded — try the Harajuku branch if available.

My Hero Academia × DECOTTO by Animate Cafe

DECOTTO is Animate Cafe’s takeout donut and waffle shop. No reservation needed — just walk in and order. The MHA collab features character-themed waffle sandwiches and decorated donuts. Perfect for a quick stop while shopping in Ikebukuro.

Detective Conan: Highway Angel Movie Collab Cafe

Tied to the new Detective Conan movie release. The cafe is inside the cinema complex, so you’ll need a movie ticket to access it. Menu items are themed around the Highway Angel storyline.

Monster Hunter Wilds × Hololive Collab Cafe

A crossover between Capcom’s Monster Hunter and the Hololive VTuber group. CAPCOM Cafe is a permanent collab space that rotates themes — the food quality is a step above most collab cafes. Both Tokyo (Ikebukuro) and Osaka (Umeda) locations available.

Black Jack Collab Cafe

A collab celebrating the new Black Jack anime adaptation. Running simultaneously in three cities. Details on specific venues and booking methods will be updated as they’re announced.

Blue Lock × Collabo Cafe Honpo

Collabo Cafe Honpo is a dedicated collab cafe space — smaller and more intimate than chain venues. The Akihabara location is right in the heart of the otaku district. Good option if you’re already shopping in Akihabara or Den Den Town.

Ouran High School Host Club 20th Anniversary Cafe

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Ouran High School Host Club with themed dishes inspired by each host club member. Running at Tree Village locations in three cities — the Tokyo venue tends to be the most popular. A nostalgic collab for longtime fans.

Tokyo Revengers × Princess Cafe

Cherry blossom viewing and bakery-themed collab with Tokyo Revengers characters. Princess Cafe runs smaller, more intimate collabs — less crowded than major chain venues. Good walk-in option.

Reborn! × and GALLERY Cafe

A collab celebrating the classic Shonen Jump series Katekyo Hitman Reborn! at and GALLERY. A rare opportunity for fans of this 2000s-era series to grab exclusive themed merchandise and food.

Detective Conan Cafe 2026

The annual Detective Conan Cafe is one of the biggest collab cafe events in Japan, running for nearly three months across three Tokyo venues. Tied to the new movie release, the menu rotates between a front period (April 10 – May 17) and a back period (May 20 onwards) with different dishes and exclusive goods in each phase. Three Tokyo locations give you flexibility — Solamachi is the least crowded option.

Sanrio Exhibition FINAL Collab Cafe

Tied to the Sanrio Exhibition FINAL event. Sanrio collabs tend to be less crowded than anime collabs and more accessible for walk-ins.

One Piece Cafe GENE (Phase 2)

The ongoing One Piece Cafe GENE at Shibuya PARCO enters Phase 2 in late April with new menu items based on different story arcs. Also running at PARCO locations in Osaka and Nagoya. For more details, see our One Piece Cafe GENE guide.

Square Enix Pop-Up Cafe (Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster)

A permanent themed cafe space that rotates game collaborations. The current Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collab features dishes and drinks inspired by FFI through FFVI, including the Lithograph Style French Toast. No reservation needed — just walk in. The Dragon Quest VII Reimagined collab follows at the Osaka and Nagoya locations. Great option for JRPG fans visiting Akihabara or Shinjuku.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Cafe (Phase 1)

Tied to the Infinity Castle Arc movie release. ufotable Cafe runs its own reservation system through their website. A Phase 2 continuation is likely — follow @ufotablecafe on X/Twitter for announcements.

How to Use This Calendar

Planning your trip (1-3 months out): Check which anime series have confirmed collabs during your travel dates. For popular series (Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece, Demon Slayer), enter the reservation lottery 2-4 weeks before the collab starts. Our booking guide explains the lottery process step by step.

Already in Japan: Walk-in options include DECOTTO (Animate Cafe takeout), Collabo Cafe Honpo, and some Sweets Paradise locations. Cinema-based collabs only need a movie ticket. Check this page every Monday for new additions.
